Volunteer Hours (5 hours)

Today i started doing my hours at the Seton Hospital. There i met my mentor, Chelsee Prado. She's a Certified Nursing Assistant and she worked with level one patients who have dementia. My project is on Alzheimer's so it works out perfectly. My mentor was super nice but she did warn me that It would be hard seeing her because she's busy herself. Anyways, on my first day I was introduced to the facility and I chose what duties I wanted to do with the patients. I chose activities that seemed enjoyable, for example reading to them, playing games, and singing to them. For my first day, I was pretty shy because I showed up not knowing  what to expect.
